Author Bio

French American born and raised in Hauts-de-France an hour away from Paris, Guylaine Simone Gamble grew up in the city of Angels in California in the 1970s a spiritual Mecca for the New Age Movement, and recently relocated to Texas with her family, husband, and two young adults.  

Professionally, she has enjoyed wearing many hats, as an elementary teacher and tutor for many years, creator and blogger for French A L.A. Carte Blog, she started journaling in her teens on a quest for the everlasting search for truth and got sidetracked in the murky, deceitful waters of the New Age movement and philosophies. 

After many years of turmoil, this led to the memoir God Always Has Your Back based on the hard lessons she learned, inspired by the Bible, the best-selling book of all times. In her world today, God has a capital “G” and the universe has a lowercase “u”. 

She felt compelled to write about her journey into the deceitful murky waters of the New Age movement and hopefully reach and inspire people, especially the younger generation, who are searching for answers about their life purpose in this world, disillusioned, and wandering, a road she knows too well that took her so many years to get out of and culminated in a return to faith.
