French American, born and raised in Hauts-de-France an hour away from Paris, Guylaine grew up in Los Angeles, the city of Angels in California in the 1970s, a spiritual Mecca for the New Age Movement, and later relocated to Texas with her family, husband, and two young adults.

Professionally, she has worn many hats from elementary teacher and tutor for many years, to founder of  French A L.A. Carte Blog. She started journaling in her teens on a quest for the everlasting search for truth and got sidetracked in the murky, deceitful waters of the New Age movement and philosophies. 

She was inspired to tell her story in God Always Has Your Back, based on the hard lessons she learned and inspired by the Bible through God’s grace, the best-selling book of all time, because God is the creator of the universe and has a capital “G” and the universe has a lowercase “u”.
